Business Development Executive

Salary Range: Salary + lucrative commission

Essential Responsibilities:
Establish develop and grow new customers
Maintain good relationship and expand business from existing customers
Selling networking, server and storage engineering services, including solution consulting, assessments and design, Project Management, integration and implementation, managed services. Services involve solutions from VMware, Citrix, Symantec, Cisco, Microsoft, and Oracle. Includes cold-calling, customer appointments, generating leads, tele-selling and writing proposals.
Participate in product, process and/or sales training in order to provide effective technical services solutions to customers.
Participate in Sales Team meetings as required.
Ensure monthly target is met for the assigned.
Responsible for a minimum number of sales calls per week.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3 years of experience in IT solutions required
2 years of sales experience required, with at least 1 year of experience in services sales strongly preferred
Experience in Cisco solutions, storage solutions, server systems and related infrastructure components is strongly preferred
Must have valid driver's license

OCP candidates will be preferred. Non OCP candidates should be willing to write Oracle Certification Exam within one year of employment.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide primary database administration for Oracle database management systems across multiple platforms.
- Perform Oracle installation, upgrades and maintenance.
- Provide troubleshooting, analysis and resolution for development, test and production environments of Oracle databases.
- The Administrator will assist in monitoring the data center's production network and systems, and will apply analytic and diagnostic skills in determining production problems.
- Research emerging technologies, make recommendations to management on implementing technologies, and lead installation projects.
- Administer, manage and optimize dev, test and production Oracle databases.
- Perform data modeling and database design.
- Provide administrative support for Linux using Grid Control.
- Configure, monitor and enhance Oracle monitors to proactively detect potential issues.
- SQL expertise in support, creation and tuning of SQL queries across multiple environments.
- Develop, maintain, configure and monitor database backup jobs & database SOP's
- Monitor and manage database SAN disk space utilization.
- Provide multi tier troubleshooting of the production data center including rotating off hours support.
- Monitor OS performance of database tasks.
- Provide support and troubleshooting to application development personnel.
- Create meaningful metrics that address both business and technical reporting needs.
- Create and maintain database scripts.
- Provide ad-hoc query support.
- Monitor and enhance Oracle performance.
- Provide support to application development.
